He's still very young, isn't he?
He is only 18, Lee.
Had some AFL clubs show some interest and came over for 2 x SANFL games with Adelaide.
I called one of them, at Prospect against North, and don't recall him having a big impact.
I think Jono Marsh, the ruckman announced as signing today, was the Dogs first target to replace Fort.
They have gone and got 3 very promising, athletic ruckman to replace one of the best ruckman in the comp.
They'll be banking on one of them to be competitive and the others for depth.

I'm confused, halfway.bayman wrote:halfwayhotel wrote:Bayman isn't a ruckman big Phil, more of a ruckrover type, very athletic though.
No sorry I do not remotely resemble any of those qualities but thanks for a boost of my self esteem
I made no reference to Bayman in my post about Robinson?

We've recruited quantity which might be ok but haven't really bolstered our midfield with a genuine midfielder.
Also need a tall forward

Jydon Neagle is a 190cm 90kg forward who nearly kicked 50 goals last season.Jars74 wrote:...Also need a tall forward

I'm sorry but another key forward is needed.
The club is gambling on 3 very inexperienced ruckman to fill a massive hole.
Another quality midfielder or two is required to help compete against the top teams.

What a waste...should be playing league at Centrals.
Where's the midfielders we require,we are miles off Norwood and the eagles with quality onballers.

Good effort by the girls tonight but they went down 6.7 to 3.5.
Abbey Scheer with the honour/trivia answer of kicking the first goal for Centrals women's side.

Despite being thrashed around the ball, Centrals defence did a stellar job in restricting the loss to 17 points last night 3.2 to 5.7.

Re: Central 2019....all discussions
In a somewhat case of deja vu with the men, the women record their first win with a 10.6 to 5.8 win over Woodville-West Torrens.
It was a fantastic 4 quarter effort by the girls, as they lead for most of the match. Special mention must be made of their third quarter. Against West and Glenelg this has been the weakest quarter for the girls. Tonight it was their best quarter, as they slammed home 3.4 to 0.2. The pressure around the ball from the girls was outstanding. Not always rewarded by the umpires, but they just kept fighting and fighting for the ball.
