Fair to say Trent Stubbs was a disappointing recruit, Lee?
Heard Chris Schmidt might be heading to country footy, as well?
Package deal with Hardy and Willits to Jervois?

Trent Stubbs played a very good game at Prospect in West's first win for the year. I think he kicked 5 goals.
Cohen Thiele and Joe Anderson have both retired from North and Nick Amato has quit the club.
Anderson thinks that his body will know longer stand the rigours of league football and Thiele had well publicised issues this year. Amato has had a few disappointing years after showing much promise when he first started league football.
In these days where kicking is of the utmost important it is fair to say that it was a problem with all three players even though the two left footers looked impressive with their kick they actually were not good disposers of the ball.

'Hello Schmidty, are you playing in the country next year?'
'No Lee, I'll be at the mighty Bloods. Why?'
'Oh, had it on good authority that you were off to Jervois'
'How do these rumours start, Lee?'
'Buggered if I know, Chris.'

Yes, Phil, Trent had some really good games, but struggled for consistency. His work travel restricted his training availability & that's a major reason he's not playing SANFL.

Not sure about Pitt the younger but all the rest have played league. They all played last year but apart from Allers none had many games due to a combination of form and injury.
Nason was a disappointment, never really showed much. I ought Galley had potential, big unit who gave a contest but his disposal could be erratic.

i'm pretty sure Hampton didn't play league, did his knee last year & can't recall him playing league this year, young Pitt was definitely in the 25 a couple of times but not sure if he got selected or not, Craig Pitt & Michael Galley have cited work reasons with Craig planning on being back in 2018

Veide a loss for Souths . Nason back at central ?
Josh Glenn upset a few I thought . Why would Central have either of the back ? What is Laird doing ?

Glenn has changed his attitude and some of the people he didn't get on with are no longer at the club...
The leadership group have met with Josh and outlined their expectations of him...
I think he will be a very good pick up for them...
Nason will add depth to the playing squad...
Laird knows what he is doing and has the runs of the board to prove it...
