IMHO Echunga are not as good a team this year as they were last year when Kersbrook beat them with Finals smarts and experienced heads.  They have half a dozen B graders from last year’s Grand Final playing in the A’s and they have a couple of crucial injuries, I hope can return for the Grand Final.
What they do have this year are a couple of young game breakers and it will be interesting to see what Brett James does about them.
Kersbrook look to be a similar team and have again stepped up in the Preliminary to be a real threat.  They also have their B grade in the GF again whereas the losses Echunga have suffered in players this year have dropped their B Grade well back.

It's been a great year for the Demons. Rumours have abounded about more injuries to players which won't be right by the day. Regardless, the young Echungan playmakers will be off the leash on a drier surface after months on boggy grounds and will out-run the older Brookers. While form doesn't matter, it's hard to ignore 9-10g wins to Echunga in both encounters this season. All the best to Lindsay Bassani and the boys on Saturday. The Demons by 3-4 goals.
