Are you 150 years old?
there is grainy footage of Carbine winning the Melbourne Cup, have seen it a few times over the years & i was surprised that they had film back then & i am 101 years old in May

Yes, but we all accept that Bayman is 101 years old

bayman is entitled to his opinion about whatever, just like you are and you both obviously differ here, but I don't see bayman taking aim and having sledges at you. He's given you a legit response IMO and you still try to take him down, because he wasn't actually present at the horse race. Who gives a FF??
But then again, why does it surprise me when you come from the Parade? I tell you what, you Redlegs need to lighten up, take your blinkers off (pardon the horse pun) and stop trying to imitate Nathan Bassett every second. I suppose attitude stems from the top down over there. White Goodman anyone? "We're better than you and we know it."
The most ironic part is you Parade boys get so touchy when we discuss anything to do with NFC and that the other club supporters are always wrong, should be discussing it etc etc when this is a social footy forum, with the odd rumour and speculation thrown in. Not everything here posted has to be fact. Makes me wonder if you're just trolling from that other site.
You want the definition of pathetic? It's called looking in a mirror. I suggest you try it. Now go have a cry to the mods...

This forum is also about having a little bit of fun as well OTL, not sniping down and having a go at every post that isn't factually correct or against your opinion.
Again you have trouble reading and interpreting what I write. I know it wasn't about footy. I was defending a fellow poster who I believe doesn't deserve the treatment you've been dishing to him.
What did bayman lie about? The fact that he wasn't alive when Carbine was a racehorse, yet he claims that Carbine was one of the greatest horses he'd ever seen race? He stated that he's seen films of the horse and in reference to the 101 years thing, he was probably taking the ****. You know, most of us can laugh at ourselves here on TFSA, which is obviously beyond your reach. (Oh sorry, another personal attack??)
As for personal attacks - "you're full of it" and "pathetic" towards bayman - they look like personal attacks to me. Talk about double standards - you can give it, but you can't take it.

Time to get some self-awareness, otl.
I think you're missing the point that everyone else is making.
If you don't recognise that, then I think one of HTWWW's theories is around the mark.

This is a forum, otl.
People have different opinions.
They state those opinions.
It's called discussion.
Sometimes people troll, looking to start trouble.
Sometimes people pretend to be silly, it helps their sad lives.
So, there are all sorts of people who contribute to a forum discussion.
Deal with it, mate

verb (used with object), os·tra·cized, os·tra·ciz·ing. to exclude, by general consent, from society, friendship, conversation, privileges, etc.:
Neither of you have been ostracised.
As I said, do what other forum users have begged you to do.
Move on, otherwise your motives have to be questioned and we will have to take action.

Re: Black Caviar win no 23
there is a difference between lying which i'm very disapointed at that sledge, i was trying to have some obvious fun with the debate, as i said i give up, as for htwww thoughts i've pmd management stating the same thoughts, opinions can differ no problems but sledging personally as i said is disappointing, hurtful & vicious & as for Carbines footage i am honest as i think i've seen it on sky racing over the years, if it is another horse i've got mixed up with well then i've made a mistake however it wasn't lying
hope the site goes well in the future

Thanks Millsy, unfortunately this is the second thread in recent days that's been hijacked into an argument, after it had never happened before.
There's a common factor and it's not hard to work out what it is.
Look forward to seeing you in Round 1.
