what will this be 9 games with 9 teams batting second & winning, obviously including tonight, rain affected 2 of these matches, it's a far cry from last year, perhaps with more games going on world wide & therefore more experience for players, chasing could be easier than it used to be

I watched that game on Foxtel last night, and in my opinion, Warne thinks he's bigger than the game itself... there was no need for him to throw the ball at Samuels. At least it was entertaining, and it's about time there was some fiery stuff going on in cricket instead of that old boring style they call the gentleman's game.

Warne got a one match suspension and a $4500 fine for his antics last night.

Cameron White got a $1000 fine for dissent

Marlon Samuels charges won't be heard today as he's still recovering from his fractured eye socket injury

i think most of it was showbiz, like the 'pre match address' but it just blew up a bit & then erupted, i think most of it was trying to put the batsmen off as that was the only way the Melbourne Stars could win from the position they were in, it reminded me of the old Port teams of starting fights when they were struggling during matches

oh by the way, Marlon did what every kid is taught when learning cricket & that is to always keep your eye on the ball.......well someone had to say it
