BT 5/206
AS were 0/133 [11]
73 needed off 54 balls with 10 wickets in hand
And lost , making 6/196 , 11 runs short

What the ...
AS should have been about $1-04 to win this game , when 0/133
That being they should win about 24 times in every 25 games in this scenario
But lost

they were (with ubet) $1.15 at that stage, Brisbane with 3 overs left were $5.50 Shocked

Brad Hodge should only bat No 4 if we get off to a bad start. It's ridiculous to continually have Pollard having only 2 overs to work a miracle.

Scorchers make 197.

Some of the Strikers play dumb cricket.

THE DOM

Domenic Michael has had an interesting 20/20 career
Here are his 4 innings 20/20 batting stats
0[1] BH V CHENNAI
0[6] HH V KOLKATA
0[1] HH V SS
0[1] HH V MH

4 innings
0 runs
9 balls faced

When Ben Hilfenhaus bowled him in the HH V MS match it meant The Dom created his own personal hat trick of dismissals , being out on the last 3 balls he has faced in 20/20 comps

The Doom looks OK when Ive briefly seen him in other formats
The Doms last SS match was earlier this month , he scored 54 + 15 against Victoria

Looking forward to his next 20/20 dig
Will be nice to see The Doms reaction when he scores his first 20/20 run

If he gets selected again......he looks useless to me, both with bat & as a fielder

Be interesting for cricket matches played 29/12
Which game does the public roll up for ?

Have a Test Match AU V PA which may have stoppages for rain at the MCG
The MR V PS BIG Bash game will not be affected by rain, the roof will be closed at Ethiad Stadium

Be interesting to see how many people attend the games

This is what I was alluding to
That being you were able to attend both games
Imagine being Melbourne on the day when the 2 forms of cricket were being played

Would the public attend the closed roof of the BBL and no stoppages
Or attend the Test with the possibility of an interrupted day due to rain

WOW what a game & great entertainment tonight

Melbourne Renegades 4/222 (includes 9 6's)

Finch 63
Cooper 53*

Hobart Hurricanes 8/223 (includes 13 6's)

McDermott 114 (52 balls) (9 6's by himself)
Bailey 59

they'll replay it in the morning on one, so tape it as it is worth watching......i can't see this game being pipped as the best this season, i know some dislike the concept of T20 cricket but it is for entertainment & the fact that the grounds get filled up & the tv ratings are big shows that the majority of people love it, in my case i love all forms of cricket

Agree, totally mystifying move by SACA. Hodge was one of our most consistent batsmen.
