Never ever crossed my mind that John Nash could be right

It was not John Nash the South Australian batsman , who was also a Norwood Footballer
Nor was it John Nash the singer, who had a hit in the 70s called 'I Can See Clearly Now'

If it happened today , our houses would rise in value, both of our dwellings closer to the ocean !
according to experts since, it is impossible to have a tidal wave in a gulf such as ours

Happy Australia day
For most a day of recognition and celebration at our magnificent country
For some, a day of sadness
It was on this day in 1966 the 3 Beaumont children disappeared from Glenelg Beach
Jane 9
Arnna 7
Grant 4
The significance of this for me is that one of those kids was born the same year I was
I cant imagine the grief there parents went though

Yes - it's baffling.
How do 3 children all go missing without a trace.
Hopefully one day there'll be answers/case solved.

The legendary George Babe Ruth was born
It is said that the Babe would eat 3 Hot Dogs before Baseball games
With that preparation ,Adelaides own Bayman should have played Cricket for Australia
Babe, would you believe was born in Pigtown !

Flamboyant Polotician Don Dunstan passed away on this day
When I think of the Don , I think of the man in the Safari suits
The great man was born in Fiji , and passed away in the great area of Norwood

If George Ruth was the best, was the volatile Ty Cobb the second best around those times ?
