This might belong in the rumour thread . Is it true that at half time the commentators or special comments people were interviewed and one had shorts on and reading from a book ? Not a very good look for either competitions if true.

Well done SA. If it was played at a suburban ground it would have been a reasonable atmosphere. We cannot play these games at Adelaide Oval as it is a bad look for state league competitions. It just looks like no one cares. It is really important the league has a professional look.
The knockers of the State game certainly have an axe to grind and it seems the same people continue to be very negative about our competition. I wish these people would just not bother posting on sites as the continuous dribble and uneducated comments are boring .
I tuned into the radio on the way in and was good to hear the passion and care for State footy from Phil . Some interesting facts about SA V Vic which most wouldn't know.

I was at the game, I believe it would have been better if the game was at a suburban ground such as Glenelg or Prospect, There was no atmosphere, when watching the highlights if you were going by sound you would probably think there were about 5 people in the ground.

Having said this I believe the standard of the game was pretty good, McGregor was fantastic with pressure skills and the couple of goals he kicked, Willy Rolli also very good as well as the midfield.
