The best of the SANFL take on the best of the Northern Conference of the NEAFL on Saturday. Will the higher standard of the SANFL notch up a win, or will the stronger of the two NEAFL conferences cause an upset?

Five years ago it was half price ($5) for season ticket holders to see the match against the VFL. This is not even half price for season ticket holders!

i'll be there because of the free tickets i got from 'wrong number Phil'. This match has no history or tradition which means it has little or no meaning & it is a no win scenario for ''the Croweaters'' if we win, well we are expected to win but if we lose what kind of laughing stock will that make us throughout Australia ? & there is no way known we could then class ourselves as the best in the state league in the nation either......i don't even think the SANFL want these games to continue given the fact it goes up against an AFL match, surely a representation match should be played away from AFL games or indeed when they have the week off

Just continue to play SANFL games this week instead of having a week of for a farce, and that way we finish 1 week earlier and play our grand final 1 week before the AFL, same as the WAFL.

But if we played the SANFL round this week, we would play the Grand Final the same weekend as the AFL. I actually still like the fact that we have our Grand Final a week later than the AFL. We get a lot more media coverage than if it was on at the same time as the AFL or in fact the week before.

The final team of 22 has been picked for this game against the NEAFL...

Michael Coad and Korey Beard drop out fo the squad of 24 and will be the 2 emergencies...
It looks a pretty balanced, quick side for mine. Beard unlucky, perhaps and COady not in great form due to injury issues, so no surprise there...

Having had no State Footy in 2010 & 2011 I am glad we have an annual game returning even if it is against a non-traditional opponent.

Hey Folks,
Thanks to RPH Adelaide, I have some FREE double passes (2 x adult tickets) for the big state game tomorrow...
Send me a PM with your FULL name and I will pop them in an envelope marked to your attention and leave them at the main ticket gate when I get there in the morning, for you to collect tomorrow when you get there...
There is only a limited number available, so first in, best dressed...
I will post in here again when the tickets have been taken...
Cheers,
BP
