I have put the 'professionals' at the top of the table for the year with the rest falling in behind, I know its sad but I cannot see it any other way. It may take the rest of us a couple of seasons to raise the bar to their levels of fitness and skills and when it does the shoe will be on the other foot.

Could be sooner than later with the Crows rumoured on the radio news possible 7 outs for the geelong game !!

Did any of the South supporters on here go to Alberton yesterday? I'd be interested to hear about that game. From the scores, it looks like it may have been a tight, defensive contest. At Footy Park it was a shootout, with both sides focused on open free running football. Entertaining to watch and quite a high standard. But the difference in leg power, precise skills etc was reflected on the score board. Or it would have been if they'd bothered to turn it on. Rolling Eyes

I'm not going to get too carried away with trials.
Like R&B I'll see what the season presents but by about 3 or 4 rounds into the season, I think we'll see if a pattern starts to emerge with the afl reserves teams.

I agree the weekly ins and outs are going to affect both of them.

I pinched this off another forum, from someone who went to the intra game for Norwood......
"A huge number of 1st choice players missed, however, a few others stood out. Callam Bartlett is a Campbell clone. He plays like him and I often had to look twice to see if it really wasn't him. He even wears the same number!"

Could someone who knows, please explain what attributes this "Campbell" is noted for?  I take it that it is a good thing for Bartlett to be his clone?

Bryce Campbell was a back pocket turned midfielder with a tidy left and willingness to win the hard ball. A very good footballer.

I watched his highlights tape and he looks extremely talented.

Has had his share of injuries, but should be a great pick up for Norwood.

Just sticking up for his player that was cowardly felled, any coach worth his weight would do the same.
