Olympian & Equestrian legend Gillian Rolton sadly has passed away after a long illness, she was 61 years old........

very apt to have passed away during the three day event she was a huge part of, including director (for want of the right term) for many many years

a true legend of Australian & South Australian sport

RIP Gillian Rolton

Jeff St John

Brilliant Australian singer
One of his songs was the sensational song Teach Me How To Fly
My advice is dont listen to this song, it just might be too hard to get out of your head

Actress Patricia Morison recently passed away (May 20th) aged 103

she was great as Hilda Courtney in ''Dressed To Kill'' a Sherlock holmes film starring the great Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce (Nigel was at one stage captain of the Hollywood Cricket club)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patricia_Morison

also recently Jerry Maren recently passed away, aged 98, he was the last munchin from the film ''The Wizard Of Oz'' but i fondly remember him playing ''The Professor'' in ''At The Circus'' & still watch from time to time, this is a Marx Brothers film, in the early part of the film Groucho arrives at the circus train by taxi,
the taxi driver says ''that'll be 1870''
Groucho says ''1870 ehh''
taxi driver ''yeah''
Groucho '''yeah that's what i thought, the 1940 model runs a lot smoother'' & he walks off

Gilligans Island re runs are presently on foxtel
I had always though Ginger was the stunner, but Maryanne was the one you would take home to meet your mother

Watched an episode very recently
As an older balder fatter but wiser person, i reckon Maryanne looked slightly the better

RIP Dawn Wells
