Wasn't good from an Eagles fans point of view .No Grocke no Eagles scoring goals or not enough .
Give south all the dues they were far superior than the Eagles in their first trial game !

Having said that all is not lost for us Eagles fans .First trial so we will watch for improvement next week.The seconds showed great promise by running away with the game like souths league side in the first quarter.
Notable players in that game Allmond in his first game back scored 3 I think.An APY lands boy played well kicking 2 goals 5 . .Along with some young guys who performed well!! And that wind was a 5 to 7 goal wind in the first game!

But the league side left a lot to improve on !!!

scores mean nothing in trials, it is all about given game time to youngsters, recruits, getting the players to gel as quick as possible & watching how quickly & skillful the ball is moved, as we all know in trials most 'first pick' players play a half at most, presuming they played (from a personel point) can anyone let me know how Shannon Snook & Daniel Kirk went please

No idea about Snook Bayman
Kirks a long term injury
Blessing (from westies) in the seconds did some nice things
Bomber (from westies) did some ok things
