Doesn’t matter Mickyj as scores are irrelevant in trial games

yep very good win...
South will be hoping their youngsters step up quickly this year. The club certainly hasnt the depth of previous years.. that was in evidence on Saturday...when leading by 4-5 goals at halftime they rested Overall, Brooksby, Cross,Liddle, Rose and a few others.. they left a sizeable hole...

At the final sprinklers, BT.
We had quarters finishing tonight by canned noise, bells and premature sprinkler ejaculation.
Won't happen again.

Re: Trial Games
Sprinklers must be the current craze in game enders - the Centrals v Eagles u/18's trial was abandoned at half time last week courtesy of the sprinklers going on as well!

Bays won by a point, I thought North looked the better side with their ball movement etc for most of the day
Glenelg 10.7.67
North 9.12.66

Re: Trial Games
I agree with your comment Bayman If it were a game for points I would have said Glenelg pinched it. Trials are trials and it is no good getting carried away but North did look surprisingly good. Robbie Young looks a gun, Tropeano looks a good pick up and Dakota Nixon, who played a couple of games last year before being badly injured looked to have improved markedly. If North had any of Glenelg's 3 big forwards they would have the makings of a good side. Not that they set the world on fire but I thought the big targets were the difference in the end.
Who was the Nic Natanui look alike for Glenelg. He obviously is no Nic Nat but he showed a bit.

Re: Trial Games
Today's quirks at Elizabeth:
- The time clock at My Money House Oval is gone, with a circa 1990's West End sign exposed in it's place. I'm assuming a new one will be in place in a week or so.
- Someone forgot the coin for the coin toss, so Goodrem and Kirkwood had a round of rock, paper, scissors to determine the 'toss'.

The “Nic Nat” lookalike is Neil Vea Vea
This is Second handed but he likes the “Nic Nat” comparison & when told he could be a cult hero said he’d love that
