Sturt's approach to 2013

Prior to the 2012 season Sturt got an advance from the SANFL on their 2012 dividend. So, without that dividend at the end of this season, and being (reportedly) in some financial difficulty, are they going to find recruiting difficult and therefore struggle on the field again next year?

Could they simply seek a second advance for the 2013 monies?

My mail is that they are working on a debt reduction plan, and if they did seek the funds, perhaps then it would be a far lesser amount as the club moves back into healthy finances?

I think these advance payments are supposed to be on a 'one-off' basis,for obvious reasons.

Sturt gambled on a strategy of making the finals to hopefully ease their debt problems. The may still make it, but it's looking doubtful, so their problems might be mounting.

Let's hope they sort something out, as I don't like seeing any of our clubs in that position and the won't be the last.

They aren't the last. Most clubs are really starting to struggle. It's a worry.
