West came from behind to defeat Glenelg last week, while North knocked off South at Hickinbotham Oval. Who will continue their winning form?

I'm hoping like hell it's West who get the chocolates here, but who knows?

In light of my recent tipping form, the coin has decided...

...West, by 2-3 goals.

The question is now whether West is a very much more talented team than they've been perceived until recently.

Their form is consistent. Two bad losses - to the top two teams.

3 narrow losses, including a 1 point loss to Norwood.

They're one of the only 3 teams to have a percentage over 50% and it's well over.

just curious, i understand a coin tipping a result but how does a coin tip a margin ?

if he is out for the year, would that mean his career at prospect is over ? (given the stories about him moving back to Victoria)

He reportedly has a Posterior Cruciate injury.

If that's so, "up to 3 weeks" seems very optimistic, it's usually a minimum 6 weeks if you're lucky.

Also usually a ruckman's injury.

Bloods should win by 5 goals on Saturday. Schmidt must now be an even stronger chance to win the Magarey.

Yes they should. I'm hoping we don't switch off just because an opposition name player is out.

I'm expecting the Roosters to come out with all guns blazing at Prospect to show that the team isn't a one man band. There were a few games in the last couple of years when Allan was missing and the team won. It just made every one else work a little harder. They are playing a team above them again, which seems to trigger something that inspires them. Alleway had an ordinary game last week and will be better for a run, and Johnston is a key focal point. Dalwood has settled in well and continually spoils. Wundke could have kicked 10 last week if he wasn't watched by Dalwood, and he got 4 of them in the first half. Shannon is also providing some toughness in the midfield, and Max Thring has a "take no prisoners" attitude. With G Thring, Thiele, Ryswyk and Bennett around the packs, I expect the forwards to be well fed, and with Miles and the running backline, including the under-rated Clisby, giving drive from the defence, I can see North having the talent to over run the Bloods. As long as they don't burn the ball and create unforced turnovers, it should be a positive result for them. Roosters by 16 points.

So glad to hear Will is working out well at North. I really rate him and think Norwood will regret letting him go after we've been screwed again by the AFL draft.

I thought AH was having a very clever little joke to follow bayman's cheesy grin. I agree AH. I think Dalwood will be very good - has a long reach without interfering with the opponent.
