Round 14: North v Eagles - Saturday 22 July @ Prospect Oval
North v Eagles
Saturday 22 July
Prospect Oval
Reserves: 11:30am
League: 2:10pm
North were gallant in defeat against Norwood, while the Eagles got the job done against Sturt. Will North cause an upset, or will the Eagles continue on their barnstorming ways?

Like Sturt the eagles are vulnerable after yesterday's bruising encounter, North play well at home & match up well against the eagles, North by 19 points

I'm waiting to see if Eagles get any players back
Looking at the Eagles App Mark Borholm ( Bomber ) is out for 1 -2 weeks
A few more up for tests midfield players and Wundke
Do they come straight back in or go through the seconds
Seeing some youngsters are performing

I thought North tried hard & at times had the Eagles under pressure but the confidence & experience of the Eagles got the job done, for North the first gamer Jordan Sweet looked way out of his depth given some half hearted efforts i saw, on the other hand Mark Quinn looks a player of the future & he caused the Eagles plenty of headaches

Actually lets be totally fair here an undermanned Eagles out fit held North at arms length
With a heap of league players out the Eagles beat north by more than the full strength Eagles side did
Number 18 for the Eagles Minney two years ago bad knee injury kept him out for a year i understand
And he is the shortest player on the Eagles list at 166 cm
Saying that the Hayes boys could be the Eagles forward line of next year

i was being totally fair, i take offence at that slur, i called what i saw with the players on display for both teams, as for the Hayes boys if that is right where is Wundke going to be ?

Umm i had no idea i slurred you bayman i apologize i was just writing what i know of the Eagles
I certainly didnt mean to slur you or any of those north players you mentioned
if you could point out what the slur is in that i will take it out
Eagles were undermanned
Hayes boys may well take over from Wundke in 2018

Mickyj,
you posted this sentence while putting my quote in
''Actually lets be totally fair here''
that is saying i am being UNFAIR & thus a slur on me
i went to the footy as a day out & didn't care who won or lost, i just wanted to see a game of footy as the bays' played the next day
