I've seen two classic lines on the back of tradies' vans:

"Adelaide Fencing Company: For the best erections in town, when we put it up, it stays up."

"Robert Button Carpet Company: For the best lays in town."

You never forget them. Good marketing IMO.

i'll beat those two, on Port Road leaving town somewhere around the Hindmarsh area there is a mechanics workshop & the sign out the front reads ''we do the best head jobs out of town''       

The official date of death of Mr. Stan Laurel and Mr. Oliver Hardy:

At one point, Stan Laurel had married his first wife once, his second wife twice, and his third wife three times. 1-2-3. Then he spoiled that arithmetic progression, but created a different symmetry. He went back and married his second wife, a third time, and concluded by marrying his fourth wife once. 1-3-3-1. What does this mean? TWICE TWO? Maybe TWICE THREE? You tell us. Perhaps Oliver Hardy had the answer in SONS OF THE DESERT when he said, "I never realized that such a deplorable condition existed in your home."

you obviously mean the minor earthquake............no i was up early on the first day of my holidays & had to fill in at work in the morning........then had a very profitable day at the trots, was good to catch up with IAMTHEWARRIOR who is over from Melbourne at Globe Derby Park this afternoon...........$16.00 for a 300g rump steak which was magnificent meal this evening at the track

It was lovely to see you too Bayman. It's been a long time since we had a good chat like that.
