Interesting points Ben and the result didnt do Westies image any good at all. You say there were only two scenarios - either Collins cant coach or the game was thrown. As is often the case, its never as simple as that and none of those things were being said at half-time.

I am sure the Board aren't happy at all, but I think the travel factor was an issue.

As for whether Collins can coach, he has us sitting third with a team nobody seemingly rates.

However, criticism of the result is fully justified.

It's also time to put to rest the 'Mickan to coach' theme.

It just won't happen.

I supported West playing in this competition, but I can't fathom why we played a development side against a WAFL team in Perth.

Either we're in it to win it or we don't participate.

And you wonder why the top 3 sides all passed in when asked to play in the Cup. I watched a little bit and could hear a couple West fans cheering.

A bit disappointing the AFL haven't made a low-resolution copy this game available on their website.

This year and last, to date, all the others have been available - including the most recent between two NEAFL sides.
