A powerful looking side. No top ups except Wright and they may have to drop a list player.

Hard choice.
21 listed AFL players, some of whom are paid more than the total West salary cap:
v
A SANFL side on a restricted salary cap who have just lost their two best players mid-season for no compensation.
If you're early for the Reserves, be aware the teams will also be depleted to provide opposition for the State Under 18 team.
The integrity of the competition is uppermost.
I'll be there, supporting West, but I suspect Adelaide will win and football won't be the winner.

I think Jacobs or Gibbs on their own would earn more than double that of any SANFL club's salary cap in one year.

Hope the Bloods can cause an upset but I'm not confident. The Crows are at full strength while Westies are still trying to adjust from losing two of their best players for no compensation.
This is the type of game that makes letting the AFL reserves into the SANFL farcical.

Is it unkind to wish for some hamstring injuries to the "thoroughbreds" ?

Good Luck to West today playing against a full AFL side probably wont win but give it your best shot and make them earn it, but what annoys me is the if the Crows have a big win and they more than likely will the Channel 7 commentators will wet themselves saying how awesome the Crows were without once putting it in perspective of an AFL team beating an SANFL team.We have Adelaide next week and will have the same result.

Re: West v the Crows Round 9
Not at the game but given the strength of Crows side then this result is far above expectations.
Stats seem to indicate that we again let opposition in last quarter 6 goals to 2 goals
West Adelaide 10.6 66
Crows 10.12 72

A couple of holding the balls not paid in the last minute or so to WA
Had either been paid, very close to goal, this match prob would have ended in a draw
I thought both were fair enough decisions
However, I have seen similar adjudicated HTB

.I enjoyed yesterdays game. I thought Parella did well against Jacobs. Nice to see a 4 1/4 effort

Well done to Westies for a strong contested effort. The fitness level of professional athletes probably was the difference in the end.
