Some pre match controversy already ?
There is some possibility this match MIGHT be transferred to Saturday to appease the AFL reserves team ?
The Adelaide Crows Reserves , would be fronting up Friday night after a 5 day break.
This is so, after the South Adelaide v Adelaide Reserves game was put forward a day last round

Adelaide Crows Reserves coach Heath Younie has stated the well being of his players is a priority
Apparently a 5 day break is a breach of the AFL collective bargaining agreement

As a general rule , I would agree having a 5 day break is far from ideal
The Adelaide Reserves team is rightly considering the welfare of its players in this instance
However
Norwood played the other AFL entity, Port Adelaide Reserves , in this comp after a  5 day break recently
19/4 v Woodville West Torrens
24/4 v Port Adelaide Reserves
On this pretence , if this game is forwarded one day , should Norwood feel  aggrieved ?

Adelaide Crows players are full time salaried professionals who have full access to rehabilitation specialists and equipment unlike their competitors. Either play the game or let them simply forfeit if they genuinley believe their players are not up to it.. If the Adelaide Crows want to discuss contraversy, then maybe the focus might be better placed on their current form in the AFL..

Will the SANFL bow to the AFLPA requirements and move the scheduled Friday night match, or will the Redlegs dig their heels in and demand a Friday night fixture?

Can't wait to see this one play out.

My guess is that Adelaide will get an AFLPA exemption and the game on Friday night will stand.

Common sense prevails

If this changed, I would expect the South versus Central game change from Saturday to Sunday for our preparations. (from playing Ravens on the Sunday). Fair is fair !!!

Norwood by 5 goals if not more

Norwood by a 4-5 goals. The crows will be with Norwood for most of the night but Norwood's experience and wise heads will be too good in the end.
