2012 Reports & Tribunal Discussion
The first reports of 2012 came from the season opener between the Eagles and Port Adelaide with both Justin Cicolella and Chris Kane finding themselves having to front the tribunal during the week.

On top of the disappointing result last Friday night, the Eagles also pay a heavy price with the suspension of Justin Cicolella and Chris Kane, both copping 1 match bans.

So Chris Kane will be watching the match V Glenelg from the sidelines.
Bet this makes him even more annoyed

Chris Kane will miss the Norwood match, and return for the game against Glenelg... which will make him very happy.
An Cicca gets to play his 250th at Woodville Oval rather than that crap hole they call Norwood Oval.

It was a very happy hunting ground last year Sabre, as well as most other times we've played there over the last 21 years (something like 9 wins out of the last 10)... but it just stinks there, that's all. Don't take it personally.

Unfortunately, Woodville Oval used to literally 'stink' years ago, if it had been raining. Much better now, of course.
Whether Norwood Oval is good or not is an interesting discussion on the TFSA Grounds thread, too.

I was referring to the overall history ‘Junior2007’, not just recent success, for which I heartily applaud the Eagles. That aroma you seem to have trouble identifying is the sweet smell of 27 Premierships and 134 years of magnificent history. You make it personal when you start insulting another club’s heritage. I don’t see anyone here making such inflammatory comments about Eagles facilities. Nor should we.Junior2007 wrote:It was a very happy hunting ground last year Sabre, as well as most other times we've played there over the last 21 years (something like 9 wins out of the last 10)... but it just stinks there, that's all. I’m sorry if you have to ‘endure’ a trip to Norwood this week. Wanting The Legs to win, I can’t wish your Eagles good luck, but I do wish them no injuries. Maybe we can catch up for a drink, should I look for a bloke in a gas mask ?
Cheers ‘n’ Beers,
Sabre.

You mean the stale smell of Premierships? That must be what it is. We could continue to play this tennis match Sabre, but you've gone down the path of a Port supporter... living in the past.

No offence, but isn't the 2011 flag also in the past?

As long as we can have a laugh, it's all good.
