probably Port, but they may have no one left to play, like every match a better judgement can be made when you see the named teams

Whilst I rate Centrals, hard to go past Port at home. Say 15 points.

Either South are clearly the best team in the comp (definitely the real deal) or something is wrong at Alberton, looking at the scores bar for the second term they hardly gave a contest via the scoreboard, Central to respond this week is a credit to themselves

In Centrals two previous wins over Port in the 'Power Reserves' era, Port's fitness has seen them reel in sizeable leads.
So at half time in today's match, and the margin at 6 points in favour of the Dogs, I thought is the same going to happen again.
Not this time.
This time the Dogs had a dominant 3rd quarter, kicking 5 goals to 0 and dominated the quarter. The other three quarters were a great, tight contest where Centrals had some dominant periods, but Port were able to quickly respond.
It was a great effort by Centrals today. Dominated the clearances, and chased, tackled and harassed Port whenever they had the ball.
Hopefully they can back it up against a Norwood side on the slide next week.
On a side note, I noticed Port have brought the boundary lines in around 10 metres at the ground (I assume so the oval has similar dimensions to Adelaide Oval), yet it was Port that often kicked the ball out on the full with some errant kicking.

Chad Cornes called out some of the Power Reserves players for playing for themselves in today's game

I can't remember a coach saying his players weren't trying.

it doesn't read like that to me, it reads (to me) that some players were only worried about stats & not about playing to win

Going on stats (but looking at crucial ones), these two Port players seemed to put their body on the line the most.
Polec - 28 disposals, 64% efficiency, 19 cont poss, 7 clearances, 1 goal
Ah Chee - 22 disposals, 68% efficiency, 13 cont poss, 8 hardball gets, 7 tackles.
No other Port player had more than 7 contested possessions. Centrals had 11.
These two AFL players seemed to rack up the easiest touches...
Colquhoun - 25 disposals, 72% efficiency, 12 D50 disposals, only 5 cont poss, 11 uncont marks, no tackles
Austin - 16 disposals, 88% efficiency, 9 D50 disposals, only 3 cont poss (all free kicks), 2 tackles
