Port as i understand it may be down on ruckmen, but they'll still smash Central given the gulf that exists between Port & the rest, the margin will be well over 8 goals

Hard to see any joy for the Doggies here. Port by 63 points.

Port may take it easy, to mute criticism that they're 10 goals better than the rest.
They ARE 10 goals better than the rest, at least until West smash them in a couple of weeks.
Port by 10 goals.
(If Central play well)

Central have won their last 8 at Alberton.
If Central lose and Glenelg beat North on Monday, Central are bottom.

I tipped the Crows over the Eagles today, so might as well try something different again !!!
Central to win by 1 point
Port has probably it's weakest side all season and the Dogs to cause the upset of the year, so far...

last time Central played a team with no recognized ruckman they lost at home to Sturt, Port by at least 8 goals in my book

Good effort by the dogs. After a bad first term they outran Port for the rest of the match and finished off strongly.

Central were brave but i thought Port coasted for the majority of the game, they only became urgent again when Central got to within 2 goals....r&b's thoughts could be on the money

Hmm, yes similar thoughts crossed my mind too. We play the blighters at Unley in 3 weeks time. They dealt with us pretty easily at Alberton. It will be interesting to see if anything has changed. Hard to know what to expect really.bayman wrote:Central were brave but i thought Port coasted for the majority of the game, they only became urgent again when Central got to within 2 goals....r&b's thoughts could be on the money

The smaller ground will remove some of their advantage
