Round 6: Port v Centrals, Sunday 5 May @ Alberton Oval
Port v Centrals
Sunday 5 May
Alberton Oval
Reserves: 11:25am
League: 2:10pm
Port are coming off an ordinary loss to the Eagles while before their bye Centrals had a rare loss to Glenelg. Between them the sides have had 1 win for season 2013. Will Port make it 2 wins for the year or will Centrals finally win their first game of the season?

I'll tip Central here by 1-2 goals.

Yes Central here too. Too much quality and experience and I think this could be the game they string it together. 5 goals+ I think.

If Port haven't changed our game plan to head towards our own goals, we will be in trouble.
If the coaches try to use the forward line of Butcher, Johncock, Thurgood and Harder effectively we could be a chance.
The Doggies will be hungry for their first win....I think they might just get it.

A very interesting match up this one. Two sides with quite ordinary starts to the season. Port have had a couple of real disappointing results while Centrals could just as easily be 3-1 as they are 0-4 at the moment, with only a 10-20 minute lapse costing them dearly in at least three of their matches this season.
If Centrals can put in four solid quarter of football, then they'll notch up win number one for the season. If not, it opens the door for Port to come in and win the match.
In a tight match, I will tip Centrals to win by 13 points.
