Re: Finals - week 2
For some reason I agree Paul. I think the Goldstein, Petrie and Brown combination will be too much for Lonergan and Taylor to handle.
Geelong will have to ruck Blicavs all night against a 3 man team and Norths defence can cover Hawkins with extra men to the contest.
Johnson is a big loss for Geelong ( although not fit last week ) and without Selwood last week they would have got monstered.
North in a thriller, just. 4 points.

Always thought Geelong would go out in straight sets and still stand by that call. Worst team to make the top 2 since mumble mumble.... Adelaide in 2012
Can't pick the Perth game, but I reckon Freo just in a tight one.

Geelong
Fremantle.
Very happy to be proven wrong, especially on the 2nd one- however, with just 2 sides out of 28 elimination finalists since 2000 having progressed to the preliminary finals- I cant go against the numbers.

Everything is in North Melbournes favour - No Stevie J, Cats probably can't afford to swing Taylor forward leaving Hawkins as the solo HP forward, Harvey back for the Roos.
So in accordance with the season the Kanga's have experienced, I'll tip the Cats.

Bit harsh. Less than a kick away from the grand final. In the last decade the worst top 2 side is Port in 2007 and not just due to the grand final.
15 and 7 and a % of only 113.
Re: Finals - week 2
Port won by 23 points. 8 goal turnaround in the second half.
They'll also beat Hawthorn.
