When will any player kick 10 goals in a match again?
It has now been 492 matches since one player notched a double figure goal tally in a single match. Not since Brant Chambers equalled the Eagles tally of 11.5 (71) in Round 7 2009.
This represents the longest ever gap between 10 or more goals by a single player in a match since Tom Hart of Norwood broke a 716 match sequence in Round 3 1922 when he scored 10 goals against North.
In fact, since Chambers kicked those 11 goals, no player has exceeded 8!

In a few weeks at Glenelg.
Wundke and Ainger will kick 10 each or at least 20 between them.

Yep, indeed.
Never seen a bloke mark the ball after it bounced off his head!
Although the best "alternative" mark still goes to the legendary Paul Bagshaw in 1973 when (once again at Woody Oval) he marked the ball 'over' his head by putting his hands behind his back and catching it about waist high.

I know this is totally irrelevant and yes I do have better things I should be doing. But according to the SANFL website, a bloke by the name of David Wickham kicked 28 goals on the weekend. He was playing for the Tamar Cats FC against the Perth FC, in the NTFA Division 2 Seniors. The final game score was Tamar Cats 49.12 to Perth 8.1
