(sadly, i admit though that the first time i watched the film & heard the tune, i immediately thought of Port

Flicking through the tv stations last night and caught the last 30 minutes of the Australian made movie 'Dimboola'
In the part of the wedding reception when the best man stood up to give a speech, he passed on a message from the grooms mates from the local footy club.
The message was, 'Don't go around the flanks, go straight up the guts'

Got a bit pf a chuckle with that one.

Was an American series

Christopher Lloyd is one of the Taxi drivers
Plays the part of a real dumbo , unlike his part as the eccentric Doc in the Back To The Future movies

Thats 28 years apart for this to happen
I would that might be quite unique

Stanwyck 1927-1964 [The Night Walker was her last film]
Taylor 1934- 1968[Taylor died in 1968 of Lung cancer]

These 2 were married from 1939-1951
They never had kids, because of complications of an abortion Stanwcyk had when she was 15 !

You hardly ever see a movie on TV with Stanwyck these days.
Or many of the old star blockbusters.

The current propensity with endless reruns of Miss Congeniality every 3 weeks , and anything with Rachel McAdams in it doesn't leave much programming room for the old flicks.
