Neil Balme v David Granger

I remember Neil Balme in 1981 played a handful of games for Norwood whilst coach - and caused mayhem in some of those games taking a dislike to Stephen Kerley (North) during the minor round and also Dexter Kennedy (West) in the 1981 Elimination Final. David Granger was playing for Port in 81 - just wondering whether Balme played for Norwood in their 81 clashes against Port or did he 'decide' to coach from the bench whilst Granger was on the field? If he did play against Port that season - did he and Dave 'meet' at all?

Neil Balme played 13 games over 1981 and 1982 and I saw a number of these at the time. My possibly failing memory does not recall him and David Granger being on the field at the same time, however.
