South Africa v New Zealand series Empty South Africa v New Zealand series

Post by Brucetiki Wed Jan 02, 2013 10:14 pm

Following New Zealand's shocking efforts in their T20 series (a 2-0 series win to New Zealand, which included New Zealand being all out for 86 in the first game), their test side puts in an even worse effort in the first test, not even lasting the first session to be all out for 45 in just 19.2 overs.

South Africa in response have already reached 1/39 after 10 overs.

South Africa take the lead - 1/47 (11.2)

Could this be a 2 day test!

Bowling figures for Vernon Philander: 6-3-7-5. Incredible.

NZ cricket is in turmoil. Ross Taylor quit and several others seem to be missing.

Off-field problems are causing chaos.
