Alan Jones

Big story that Alan Jones has said that Julia Gillard had caused the death of her father and that he had 'died of shame'.

I'm sure that decent people on all sides of politics will strongly condemn him.

i heard the clip on ch 9 this morning & Alan Jones is giving a press conference on ch 9 shortly, when a bloke like Derryn Hinch criticizes the comments it shows how appalling & abhorrent they are, it may've been a Liberal show but those comments are totally uncalled for & not warranted in Australia at any level, i ask why would a supposedly intelligent person say something like this ?

i hope he gets the sack & who knows people may feel for her & she gets re elected

Bad comment and even the liberal party room faithful gasped at the comments.

She won't get re elected though but may get some sympathy vote with the comments .

Jones is a big DH anyway !

He even tried to defend his comments during his 'apology' (and I use that term very loosely).

Also, the Sydney University Liberal Club should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for calling Jones' comments 'brilliant' (though they've since conveniently removed the tweet praising Jones' speech), for the members who initially laughed at the comments, and for including as part of the auction at this function an Alan Jones signed chaff bag.

Jones and the Liberals have come out of this looking very poor indeed.

on Alan Jones, he was coach of Australia (Wallabies), i can't say too much (for obvious reasons) but i can say look at his record immediately before he got the chop......i wonder what happened on the tour
