There seems to be more stallholders selling records at the various markets these days
There is the hope of getting a bargain
Visited Wolfies at Stirling yesterday
I would go back again if in the area
Wolfie is a jovial sort of groover , and very helpful
Bought
Best Of The Marmalade
A band who covered the Beatles song OD-LA-DI-OB-LA-DA with great success in the 1960s

Scrappy, I just happen to have about 45 old 5AD top 40 charts, the oldest being 20th December 1968.
The week beginning 7th Feb. 1969 Marmalades version was sitting second on the chart, 0ne month later 7th March 1969 both versions (Marmalade & Beatles) were on top of the chart.

Does this work?
For warped records
1 flat glass
2 warped record on top
3 newspaper on warped record
4 flat glass on top of warped record
5 leave out in sunlight for about 5 minutes
Does this work ?
I've thrown or given away all my warped records , so cant experiment

Re: Where to buy Music in Adelaide
I rolled up today for the Music Palooza.
It was a fizzer.
Didnt buy anything.
A terrible day.
I was very very very disappointed
Received an email from the promoter on 1/7/2013.
The email heading was -Music Paloosa 2013 record fair next week-
So I rolled up today.
And the reason it was a fizzer?
Its on next week as I posted earlier in the thread...

Parachute
By
The Pretty Things
From this outlet
Sussex Street Records and Art Gallery
1 Sussex Street , Glenelg
Found the Album 23/7
The album was released in 1970, and its different to the earlier Pretty Things tunes of the 60's
There's a hint of Pink Floyd and later stage Beatles in some of the songs
Weird Album , listened to both sides 3 times now, and appreciating this weird psychedelic music
Best song : Cries from a Midnight Circus
Good Music shop this one , a must for all southee living residents of Adelaide.
The proprietor is another quiet unassuming groover
Just about every Vinyl record store owners are in Adelaide
There's some real works of Art as well

Yes it is opposite Marion Shopping Centre.
I have been in a few times but seems more focused on Rap/Hip Hop records.
He has a few new records but a bit expensive IMO.
Did not see many 2nd hand records but this was about 1 year ago now.

Visited the Wax Department
Wide variety
There were cheapy records in boxes at ground level
Young lad running the store , very helpful , nice bloke
He has been there a few years
It was a Big Star complex b4 he took over
Whilst up there I popped into Rock Therapy on Goodwood Road
Groover Fraser was happy I rolled up , having bought a couple of The Pretty Thing Albums off him to complete my album hunting of this magnificent band
Good outing for my mates and I
Also Visited Gerry At The Toss Of A Coin
He sells records, but they are Football records !
Had lunch at the Beach Pit on Jetty Road Brighton
This establishment makes the best grilled fish in Adelaide
I enjoy the Southern outings
Didnt quite have time to visit Sussex Street records at the Bay , next time will though

Bought 8 Albums , resonably cheap
I only had an hour to spare though
Very very busy
Traders that I knew were doing well
Lots of younger buyers today and too many queues
Cream and Deep Purple albums are the best I bought
RECORDS MINI FAIR
12/4/2014
8:30am-5:30am
15 Wandora Crescent
Salisbury Park
6 months away , plenty of time to save up
Southee, I was suffering from a bit of Hayfever today
And was out at The Parade until very late, yesterday
My eyes were very red and bloodshot from all of the above
A couple of my trader friends at Sema4 today thought I was stoned !
