Hotties Bargains

A place to go bargaining for records is with a very friendly chap that has a stall at the Brickworks
Has a collection of good music albums , and often enough at a bargain prices
Go and meet Don, a wonderful wonderful chap
Don, aquires a selection of second hand records and tests and plays all his records before selling them
Ive done a fair bit of buying at Hotties Bargains

Yep Scrappy.

I went as well but was on a bit of a budget.

Came out with 11 albums.

Split Enz (Frenzy) reissue on vinyl with a few extra tracks .....you would love it R&B!!!
James Reyne, Geisha, Boom Crash Opera, Kids in The Kitchen, Huey Lewis.....sort of got a good cheap 80s fix!!

Love the Ravi Shanker album Scrappy.......I wish I saw that !!!

I thought it was OK....I spoke to Jon as well. I thought the other guy down the back was pretty pricey for my budget and thought he was a bit wishful in his pricing. Just my opinion anyway.

Still I never bulk from a record fair of any kind !!

The Ravi Shanker is quite an album, so different
I thought the twang of Duanne Eddy was pronounced , But Ravis twang is really sharp and piercing

Some great memories there Scrappy, I have a lot of of those groups in my collection, of which we listen to quite often.

Just on the Cowsills, they weren't around long but recorded some good music, one called "the rain, the park and other things" my favourite of theirs. Sadly most of them have passed on.

Here is the killer.....

I have in my (record) collection a Jim Nabors, Nana Mouskouri, several Kamahl and early Barbra Streisand among other notable forgettables.

Ok, I know it sounds cheesy, but yes they were given to me.

Happy to donate if anyone has an inkling for such musical icons.
