Thanks for starting the thread B&T!
If it's a wet one I give Sydney more of a chance. I reckon they'll lock the game down and suffocate the Hawks.
That said, Adelaide rattled Hawthorn's cage last week, wouldn't be surprised if they come out firing this week.

Sydney for me. They have made it look like they have 44 players on the ground, their work around the ball and their defence has been truly spectacular to watch (not from an entertainment point of view, but a methodical football tactic in motion).
Well done to whoever wins it.

Re: 2012 AFL Grand Final - Hawthorn v Sydney
Well we've reached Grand Final day, and Melbourne is holding up well so far. The radar, however, shows the weather we had last night heading direct to Melbourne and looks like it's set to hit right on game time.
For me, I am not fussed who wins. I've always considered Hawthorn as somewhat of my 'second team' given the several links they've had with Centrals in the past (and the family were Hawthorn supporters prior to the Crows), so like 2008, will be happy if they win. If Sydney win, then a non-Victorian side wins, and that is always good. So either way, I will be happy whoever wins.
And true to my fence sitting form - I am tipping either Sydney winning by 2 points or Hawthorn by 20 points (purely because that's what I picked in the Grand Final sweep at work )

Sydney have used a lot of energy
When Sydneys intensity tapers off, I expect the Hawks to come back
Hawthorn still in the game

Only 8 points now.
Mumford should have been paid a mark or free right in front. Not paid.
