Ten years ago Central lost 2 games during the Minor round, had the bye in the last round. Won the 2nd semi easily to go straight into the GF. Lost the Grand final comfortably.
The one game in 5 weeks had a real inpact.
Now have a look at Norwoods situation this year and you will see the exact same senario emerging.

It was 2007 when we had the round 23/QF-EF 'double bye' and went on to beat North comfortably in the Grand Final.

In 2002, we had a bye in round 22, then it was play Sturt, week off, play Sturt, week off play Sturt. We beat Sturt in round 23 and the second semi, but they won the one that counted. The side did learn from that though, as in 2004 we had the round 22 bye (and subsequent week-on, week-off) and killed the Eagles by 20 goals!

Reading your last post, I suspect you're fishing for a reprimand or a deleted post, so we'll leave it as is and give the following rulings on the whole exchange:
