It's going to be very interesting to see which style comes out on top in this game. It seems to be being painted as the battle of Good vs. Evil.

It's a great pity if people see it that way. We've had a long hard footy season, three teams are left standing. Very few finals (certainly Grand Finals) are won with pretty football. Having come all this way, it is the duty of every coach and player to deploy whatever legal tactics are at their disposal to bring home the bacon.

Whether we prefer West's style or North's style, the game will be won by the team in front on the scoreboard at the end of the match. Simple as that. I really don't think we will see North this week be allowed to play free flowing footy, certainly you'd be confident West will be a more disciplined unit than Central were last week.

I'm still searching for the winner, and from a Norwood point of view, either way it will be very interesting.

A see a key in the match as to how well Hartlett and Ferguson hold Alleway and Johnston.

I listened to the 5aa sports show last night between 4pm and 6pm and not one mention of tomorrows prelim. final between West and North, not one. Oh but wait, they wll jump on board for next weeks GF that I'm sure of just as a token gesture. Thanks for nothing.

My tip for what it's worth,i think the roosters will win because there forwards are more potent now than ours,the ball is delivered better our defense although is good will be stretched on the day.Our forwards are brittle and ball is not delivered as well as north.The midfield of North is quicker than ours.So North by 35pts. Now lets hope i am made a fool of.

i agree AH, that always irritates me & i can't believe the SANFL give awards to those that doesn't support its product all season

Well, I may as well take a punt. I haven't been able to get North right all season so the they will be delighted that I'm selecting West to win by 8 points.

Good luck to both sides, no serious injuries, but plenty of bruises and sore spots for next week eh?

Well done bloods, a great effort.

With Fisher, Beech and Tippett all a chance for next week will be tough selection, all players contributed today at times.

i thought North looked good for the first 10 minutes or so then West got well on top kicking something like 9 of 11 goals at one stage which ultimately won them the game, i thought North were brave trying to claw their way back & not giving in but Westies had the answers during the last 3 terms, presuming Jonathon Beech, Joel Tippett & Ben Fisher come back into the team there is going to be a few very disappointed players, good luck to both teams next week but i have 3,000 reasons for wanting West to win
