Well finally picked my Dream Team - it only took me 1 go - this could be good or bad - lol.

Last year it took me 3 attempts to come in under salary cap.

So - have I got this right...

There is only one AFL game this weekend?
Then the rest are next weekend?

So we will get locked out of DT from Saturday night - but we won't know who is playing in the other teams yet for the following week?

My son says it will be a partial lock out - but how do we know this for sure...lol.

If previous years are anything to go by, it will be a partial lockout - meaning you can't recruit/trade GWS and Sydney players after Saturday night (and possibly Richmond/Carlton players after next Thursday night) before the full lockout next Friday night.

Does Dreamteam have the captaincy loophole A Mum??

If it does then give the captaincy to someone who won't play, thereby making Swan captain.

For example, bring a rookie that's not playing of your bench and onto the ground. Put the 'C' on him, put a bloke who's playing as a reserve on the bench, and wha-la, you've cashed in on Swanny!

I have a feeling you could do this last year - but DT have woken up to such things this year...lol.

But I might still take a look - although then I'll feel like I'm cheating

I've done it with Stanton this week. Had the VC on him and he scored a paltry 71, so the C will be going to Boyd against the GC.

Just had a look - he is fair and square stuck on the field - and can't be moved, changed, swaped, nothing...

No, don't swap him off. Pick someone on your bench who won't play to swap for any other player on the field.

Give the captaincy to said bench player and the emergency tag to whoever you put on the bench.

The captain doesn't play, which makes the VC the captain (in this case Swan).

Had a quick check - and thanks to Ablett's injury, I gave the captaincy to Swan
