So how's your day been everyone ??

Sun is shinning, nice breeze if you're in SA (even though I'm stuck inside...lol)

Must say my day has been a good/great one so far

Hope everyone else is having a good day also

I've had a good day, bowled 7 games of ten pin bowling this morning, have another three later tonight so I'll probably be a bit stiff tomorrow!

Fine as freshly slicked back frog's hair.

Went on a work field trip that just happened to find the Mannum Bakery (yum-yum)?

Not bad... finished a job early today and now waiting for the little girl (15 months) to come home with Mum from Granny's to give her a bath, feed, watch The Waybuloos, play....then fingers crossed...sleep time (not good with teething at present)

Busy day being the start of the month. Throw in the launch of this site, DT and SC kicking off, the T20 tonight, and trying to fit in MKR and Cricket Superstar...yeah I'll be keeping busy tonight as well!

A few hours work this morning, then a relaxing afternoon planning and registering my DT and SC teams. A dinner of roasted duck legs with salad, and an early night in my soft, warm bed should round off the day nicely. The only real sucky point is this shocking headache I've ended up with; probably as a reaction to the (seemingly) overpowering smell of the fresh paint due to the outside of my workplace being painted.

Good thanks got my Full drivers licence today

Busy day at work, but made really nice by the reaction of posters to our new site.

Very busy at work, being the start of the month and being back after a couple of days off due to my Grandad passing away unexpectedly on the weekend.

Day's barely begun here....only 9:15am

Nice clear skies but 1C with a wind chill of -3C...brrrrrrrrrrr...good excuse to settle down online with a gallon of tea.

Crappy end to the day. My husband's (within the last hour) been taken to hospital in an ambulance with chest pains. He's already had two mild heart attacks since 2000, so I hope like heck it's nothing serious this time - he's only 50.

He actually rang me not long ago, and he said they'll be letting him come home, once they've got the paperwork sorted out. The doctor had just been to see him, and said there was no need for a follow-up appointment with the Cardiology department. Would have been a bit scary I think, when the ambos arrived and took his blood pressure, and it was 80 / 40. I guess I'll find out more about what went on when he gets back home again.

Guess you can UNcross your fingers now. I wouldn't want you to get RSI or something from keeping them in one position too long.


Now I have to try and do something about the headache I developed today (even worse than yesterday's shocker) from all the stressing about what was going on with him since just before midnight last night. Methinks an early night, in a dark and quiet room, with a couple of soft pillows to rest my head on, (and hopefully the pillows won't feel like the pile of bricks they sometimes do when I have a headache) is in order.

Well my day started off quite blah - but it's turned out pretty good.

Always helps when you're surrounded by such a great bunch of caring people.

I hope the good news stays good KangaBlue.

Given similar scares in my family I'd appreciate an update if you have time.
It'd be interesting to know whether a 'stent' or 'by-pass' might be needed.
Chest pains are so damned frightening as one grows older. A simple over
exertion when lifting something heavy and wide enough to strain the
sternum can present like a cardiovascular emergency with amazing pain,
even days later.
