Ling interviewed North's coach, Brad Scott, about what changes they had made at 3/4 time. Scott replied that he'd asked Petrie to play deeper and isolate Rance 1-on-1. What happens? North kick first 3 goals of the last quarter through Petrie.

I would have thought even after just the first one, that Hardwick would have changed the defender on him, or even try Maric down back.

Some bizarre moves in the last few weeks have cost us winnable games.

After looking back at results this year, Richmond has lost 8 games this year by 3 goals or less. We could have a much better record than we currently have.

R8 vs Essendon (19pts)*

R16 vs Gold Coast (2pts)

* = more scoring shots than opposition.

The questions about mental toughness are starting to creep back in...

I want to get excited, but I know there's still 20-odd games to go in the season.
