Aussies v India

Clearly our mindset when batting is all over the place.
2 second innings capitulations in successive tests is just ridiculous when viewed in the light of how the dismissals occurred.

I have thought for a long time that the Aussies are mentally brittle and only successful when they can dictate the terms and in recent times this seems to be mainly at home.

Maybe it comes down to strong leadership and team culture and I haven't rated any of our last 3 captains for tactics or leadership. Really, there have been just too many issues and distractions over the last 4 years or so, for solid consistent performance to be a benchmark.

Maybe the preparation time was lacking to adapt to these goat tracks in India.

And with so many new faces in the team from whatever agenda the selectors are trying to push, doesn't seem to be helping. For mine the selectors seem to overthink things.
Although our 2 new spinners seem to have been quite solid in their debuts.
