I think Tom Highmore will be a big improver as the season goes on.

They look to be a definite finals chance this time.

I reckon with Brooksby who could well be the pre-eminent ruck in the comp in 2020 and Broadbent who could become a backline "general" ala Hodge at Hawthorn, they could built on that for a proper showing.

They are not just 2 ins, but could be significant ins that they side is built around.

We've lost a few...Crabb, Davis, Liddle and Noble... but weve got ample replacements to cover them imo. That is if they arent lost in the midseason draft, AGAIN!
Brooksby is a huge in, and will be the best ruckman in the SANFL , again. Broadbent will use his experience and elite leg in defence and I believe in the midfield as well. Rose and Highmore are by all reports excellent young players, with a bit of size about them and Sawford is just a good honest player. I believe expectations are high for 2020 at Noarlunga, and so they should be!

I don't watch South as regularly as your own supporters, but I think the In's are still an improvement on the outs (as good as they were). If their bodies hold up, the AFL leaves the club alone and the newcomers buy in, I reckon they're right around the money next season.
