Centrals knocked off West in a reverse of last year's Elimination Final, while North beat Glenelg in a thriller in the Qualifying Final.

In the under 18's, Norwood ended North's season with a big win in the first semi, while the Eagles booked a place in the Grand Final with a hard fought win over South.

In a nail biting first semi, Centrals kicked a couple of late goal to pinch a 1 goal win over Glenelg, while North were too good for Norwood in the second semi final.
The Reserves Preliminary Final will be played at City Mazda Stadium:
Preliminary Final: Norwood v Centrals - Saturday 15 September @ 11:30am
The u/18's Preliminary Final was a thrilling one, with South beating Norwood by 5 points.
The Grand Final will be Eagles v South @ Adelaide Oval at 11:15am Sunday 16 September.

Re: Reserves/Under 18's Finals Discussion
A match which finished with a 5 point margin yesterday, but with no question of the legality of it was the Under 18s Final - with no more than two goals the margin throughout, I thought it was top exhibition of Under 18s footy. Kind of biased though, given that it was a positive result to the green, gold and blue, 13.11 to South 12.12.
One thing I like about Under 18s comp is that there has to be players inside 50 at all times, leading to more direct play and more contested marking opportunities.

Norwood took out the Reserves Prelim, beating Centrals by 7 points.
With the outcome of last night, both the Reserves and League GF's will be Norwood v North encounters. Last time this happened was 2001 when Centrals and the Eagles battled it out in both Reserves and League GF's (Eagles winning the Reserves, Centrals winning the League).
