Pretty conclusive wins in 3 of the 4 games and a minor upset in the other.
I think the Reserves, depending on AFL players' qualifications, looks like a Port win.
Sturt were very impressive against West in the 18's, so I hope South don't go out in straight sets after such a good minor round.

Because West having won only about 3 or 4 games there in the last two years, it's considered a neutral ground for us.

I reckon it's because Glenelg, Woodville, Prospect and Unley need to prepare for cricket. IIRC Norwood was preparing for another sport (possibly lacrosse). Alberton had Amateur GF last week and Noarlunga and Elizabeth are probably too far away. That leaves Richmond as only choice. Can see how it is unfair but not complaining.

Woodville was used last year for the reserves finals in the first two weeks of the finals. In 2014 Glenelg was used so I don't think cricket is the issue.
It may be Bobo Olsen up to his usual tricks.

To be honest I only asked the question as I said with tongue in cheek, I thought it may have been to do with cricket & Richmond being more central than a Noarlunga or Elizabeth got the gong

Re: Reserves/Under 18's finals discussion
And my comment about Bobo was semi tongue in cheek.
Norwood doesn't have a cricket pitch so if it was suddenly cricket that precluded the other grounds, that could have been used. I can remember going to a Reserves semi final at Norwood in 2005, but that is a long time ago now.
By the way, the home ground advantage wasn't the reason West beat North in the Reserves. North's skills, similar to the league side, were deplorable. Wharton looked to be the only player who you would think would go on to a substantial senior career from North's reserves side.

Re: Reserves/Under 18's finals discussion
West Adelaide into the reserves Grand final after smashing the magpies at City Mazda Stadium and take on Sturt next Sunday.
Port on the top of the ladder all year losing only 2 games (i think) but with the Power getting knocked out of the AFL, the after affects of eligible players hurt the magpies.
But from a Westies point of view, West were very good and played some great footy, never letting the magpies into the game.
West...17-11 d Port 4-12

James Rowe (son of) won the Alan Stewart medal for best player in the u18's grand final, albeit in a losing team, unless I'm mistaken the last player that won this award playing in a losing team was Lachie Neale, if James has a career like Lachie is having then he'll have a great career
Final score....
Eagles 7.7.49
Sturt 13.14.92
