Round 2: Norwood v Port - Thursday 13 April @ Coopers Stadium
Norwood v Port
Thursday 13 April
Coopers Stadium
Reserves: 4:40pm
League: 7:20pm
Norwood made easy work of North last week, while Port were shocked by Glenelg. Will Norwood make it 2 from 2 under their home lights, or will Port recover from last week's mauling?

If the Power reserves players have any pride then they'll want to bounce back & bounce back quickly, i think it'll be a tight tussle for most of the night but favour the Power reserves to show some heart & pride & get the job done by 7 points

Tough one to call, both clubs were far from impressed with their first round performance.
Port will need a replacement for Ryder, possibly Young and maybe even a travelling emergency, so that could rob them of 3 SANFL players.
They are due a win against Norwood at the Parade in what would be their first since their AFL entry into the SANFL, so I'll pik them by 14 points, but hard to do so with any certainty.

Port have not won at Norwood since 2007, that is 11 straight losses at The Parade.

Re: Round 2: Norwood v Port - Thursday 13 April @ Coopers Stadium
what a great match to watch as a neutral, well hardly a neutral as the money was on the Power reserves, they could have won by a few goals had they kicked straight & both teams had their chances right the way through including during time on of the last quarter when we had both teams leading, Norwood were served a blow when Fuller & another player whose name escapes me were injured & limited in their rotations, i thought coach Cotton should have brought Baulderstone on earlier than he did in the last quarter, however it would be very tough to be too critical because i thought the players from both sides put on a great match & both coaches seemed to make the right moves most of the time
ps, for my friend Mr Booney,
whatever their form, tonight was the first match EVER that they have done me a favour financially

Can anyone post the scores? It seems the SANFL site is incapable of doing it, and in fact are still incapable of posting the scores from the Sturt v Adelaide game last week.
