Round 17: Norwood v North - Thursday 13 August @ Coopers Stadium
Norwood had a disappointing loss last round over Adelaide, while North's season continued to free fall in the first half of round 17 over Port. Who will rebound for the win?

a hapless North coming off a very short break, Norwood who need to boost the percentage big time will show no mercy to the Roosters' & will be going for the kill, North almost beat them at Prospect but given those circumstances this week Norwood will win by over 10 goals & start to build up their percentage

I think North will get a shellacking this week as Norwood begin their run home to the finals. Norwood by 40pts+

Ground should be pretty soaked from a few days of rain. A young North sounded like they battled alright against Port last Round. I'll go for the homeside by 25 points.

Legs look to have named a pretty strong side. Hopefully we can get up and give ourselves a shot at top 3. Legs by 20-30 in the wet

More than likely a low scoring game keeping it closer than most would expect.
Norwood 9 goals to 3

Bad kicking at goal by Norwood kept the Roosters in the game.
Interesting fact tonight, two former Panther team mates coaching against each other.Don't think the last few weeks has helped Handby's coaching career.

Full time: Norwood 13.23 (101) defeat North 3.7 (25)
North absolutley humiliated tonight, hard times for NAFC supporters.

this would have to be the worst performed North team of all time, if not it would be close to it, injuries haven't helped but the bickering between some players during games that i've seen during the year tells me that they aren't a happy team this year

A record run of losses in its history?
They looked very poor, not really a contest, was it?
Hopefully better times ahead with a new coach and injured players coming back.
