The gambling dollar in the racing codes is being pursued on several fronts
Just who is winning the share of the gambling dollar ?

At the start of this century it was more or less a battle between the TABs and the on course bookmakers
Since then Corporate internet bookmakers and Betfair have become the other major players

So where is the gambling dollar ending up mostly ?

TOTE MERGER
Ubet and Tabcorp TABs are going to merge in mid 2017 at this stage
That will only leave 2 TABs in Australia, the other being the government owned WA TAB
Why the merger?
Is it mainly  to increase betting pools on win place exotic and multiple betting ?
Or are there other reasons ?

So which are the best places to bet as a punter ?

for smallish punters like myself, places like unibet,ladbrokes etc are the choice for me

on the 3 you've mentioned Scrappy i'd suggest Curly would be mid 60's & the other 2 would be into their 70's
