Heres a question for you Empty Heres a question for you

Post by mickyj Thu Oct 27, 2016 11:36 am

I was in centrelink Monday answering questions and being assessed . Not going to say anything about that .
Except Centrelink officer said they were told or had information that I had my licence back . It confused me and i explained i asked my GP she said rehabilitation had to authorize me to get my licence back that alone is interesting the docs said no and the therapists said i said no .
Anyway after my specialist appointment I contacted services SA gave them the number on my proof of ID card yep my licence is still blocked . She asked who said it wasnt i said Centrelink had been told it wasnt blocked anymore .
Her reply she was rather shocked Centrelink would not say that as they can not access their system .

Anyone else had this happen to them at centrelink ?
Could anyone actually say to centrelink i can drive again ?

And when i take the rehab paperwork in that centrelink need somehow rehab didnt supply it in the weeks they told me they would i will ask the centrelink lady who told them i was driving .

Centrelink is a pain to deal with. Wouldn't surprise me that they got things wrong.
The staff are either really good or completely hopeless. I suspect they just stuffed up.

But beibg told they had information I got my licence back confused me the only person more confused was the Services SA worker

If I ever get that paperwork in time today or Monday I'll ask that question
Rehabilitation are refusing to accept i applied for this benefit they are using a different tactic such as you were told no Micky that's confusing wasn't told no yet

Oh well all good couldn't be my exemployer or insurer causing problems again surely

Ok I got my rehab papers not sure what Centrelink will get out of them .
I took them in so they copied them.
The person assessing me was not there so I asked the lady could she say where the info on me driving came from . Lady said we don't know that the other lady stressed me out over it saying they had info I had my licence back .
I said I contacted services sa who also were concerned because Centrelink can't access their system .
She was going to ask the lady and contact me I said thank you it's a legal issue I'd like to know

Doesn't surprise me, Centrelink are a pain to deal with.

If they want to reduce unemployment surely the government can find a few thousand people to answer the phones and reply to queries at Centrelink.
