I will pick Port to win by 2 goals without a lot of confidence.

Re: Round 19: North v Port - Sunday 7 August @ Prospect Oval
Early game North Reserves team v Ports team
PA led by a point with about 2 seconds to go[in a 28 minute set play quarter]
NA was awarded a free kick from about 65m from goal
The siren sounded
The NA player appeared way too far out to score into a breeze of sorts
The PA players celebrated
This is how I saw what happened , from that POINT on and will seek clarification if anyone saw this games conclusion
A PA player kicked the ball skywards very high up thinking the game had concluded
But it had not, the NA player was entitled to shoot from almost an impossible scoring range
The umpire on seeing the PA player kick the ball, paid a 25m penalty against PA
The NA player was now about 40m out from goal
NA 1 point down
His shot resulted in a point
The game finished a draw
What a way to end a game
This is the 2nd game Ive seen in the last week or so where a decision was made with match implications , following the GL V NW League game last week
Both games results were changed with after the siren scoring kicks

it could prove as well that the acdamney side is not up to SANFL reserves standard and I saw them play two weeks in a row

I am certain the top 5 clubs are happy Port are not going to make it.
What's not to understand?
Bet the Port player got a quick refresher on the rules afterwards.
Ports win means that they are a mathematical possibility to make the finals but it is unlikely. BTW, I am usually happy when Port doesn't make the finals but much happier when we do.
