Either way I don't have an issueSouthee wrote:mickyj wrote:Southee wrote:rocket_rooster wrote:mickyj wrote:rocket_rooster wrote:Southee wrote:South fans get into Wundke for totally different reasons North supporters would get stuck into him..... And South fans have every right to get stuck into him. It's all justified !
What is the difference between why Wundke left North and why he left South. I believe he left both clubs for the same reason.
I might be wrong he left you guys to go to the AFL before he went to south . or am i wrong like i normally am
He went to the AFL IN 2007.
He came back to North and played with us in 2010.
He left North simply because he was offered an exorbitant amount of money by South in 2011. North knew that it was an exorbitant amount because Wundke showed them the contract.
I believe he left South for similar reasons.
Yep.....and a few other things too that i wont go into.
Means you can't prove it fair enough
but nothing of the other players
at some stage you guys gotta build a bridge and get over it .
Means....this is a public forum and I don't see the point of discussing it on here.
Except you don't rant as much over Ainger or Boyd
My point again is get over players leaving
Other wise other teams fans might think there issues with players staying down there in the south .

Ainger, Boyd and Wundke went from SA to WWT
Payback for what happened in the 1970s !
Geoff 'Banger' Baynes
Started his career with WT , had a break and then ended up at SA in the 1970s

Absent OS at the moment so I'll miss this one, sadly. Lots of rain I hear so no doubt pecker park will be a mudheap...still think the panthers will get up by 2-3 goals.
Some interesting remarks re a player who used to play for us. yes sure we paid him a lot of money, probably far too much for someone who was always a heartbeat away from a soft tissue injury and rarely trained. Left us for far bigger offer- one that we had no possibility of coming close to match.....anyway we have a bloke called Eddy who in most peoples opinion was a more than adequate replacement, and seems to get hold of it a bit.

Wasn't comfortable but a win is a win .
Only goals kicked to the port rd end was in the fourth quarter by the Eagles .
Eagles played 3 quarters of footy today and won

Easy win..Looks like South have picked up the Nathan Basset playbook....it worked to a degree in the 1st half by turning the game into a rugby scrum but we adapted and found space in the 2nd half and wasn't a contest...no wonder crowds are dropping off

''space'' is the right word, my eagles' insider tells me that the coach said at half time ''that they weren't giving us any space, as they tire spaces will open up & we'll be right''

I think you are being a little unkind to Sturt who have shown the ability to win from any position and have put together 10 straight victories.
2002, 2006, 2011, 2015 ... 4 recent examples I can think of where a hot Grand Final favourite has fallen at the final hurdle.
Six-seven weeks ago it was how much the Crows were dominating.
Grand Final is still about 13 weeks away ... long way to go yet.

I read online Gods was that angry he was yelling either that loud or bad he stripped paint off the ways .
But sitting there washing the game from the outer .
First quarter South should have been in front five points to the port rd end .
A very defensive side that head the Eagles up .
Either the yelling or screaming by the coach worked or south couldn't continue with that defensive game style . But did show they could be away with fast breaks .
Saying that after half time the Eagles the sleeping bird of prey woke the you know what up . Pup was very fast and got a fair bit of the ball . Poole woke up and at times was like the tasted mouse in Mexico I didn't think he could be that fast but he can .
McGregor was flying high and taking screamers .
Bomber and Redden I think we're better than the south Ruck . South won the taps but they controlled around the ground and up forward .
Wundke was running again this week not as far and he kicked goals where the south spearhead kicked zero goals .
Flash was missed against the dogs but helped get the running from defence going .
A win is a win
And Sturt I've seen the fans mouthing off on Facebook come on down to oval ave the real power along port rd lives there

Reckon a few injuries to Sturt and they are in trouble.
Had a good run. Their ressies are near if not bottom.
No depth at all.

As for the Crows dominating , that stemmed from anti AFL reserves fans who let's be honest , just keep blaming that for everything.
They aint dominating now because it appears they don't give a sh1t. Like where is their captain currently playing now?

interesting...i'll presume he's qualifying to play finals for Echunga then, why wouldn't you want to play finals at the Adelaide Oval ? which after all is their home ground

I have been told he was dropped because of form back in late May and hasn't been able to regain his place.
