Looking at that run - and even with injuries - if Kenny can get the playing group in the right headspace there's every chance you could salvage the season yet.

Well, it wasn't the prettiest game going around, but we got the points.
In retrospect I'm quite happy with they way they ground it out despite not playing to their best. Chalk up the 4 points and move on to the next challenge, the Dogs at Etihad.

Yes, and no. Despite going over a beating a hapless Richmond unit with half a side missing things don't get any better for Port.
Killed at stoppages still, much work to do there.
Looks like Lobbe will miss up to 10 weeks with a PCL injury. Sure, he's not setting the world on fire but he is our #1 ruckman and would hopefully have returned from the SANFL in a week or two in some better form, not now. So, young Dougal Howard has a couple of months ahead of him of being the lead ruckman and the likes of Trengove, Westhoff and Dixon can all expect to do some more tap work in the front and back halfs as well as around the ground.
Brisbane, Mothers Day, 4:10 pm, does a home match get any less appealing to fans? I think if we crack 38,000 we'll have done very, very well.

Yea the Lobbe injury is a real kick in the guts, particularly with Ryder out.
2016 is already shaping up as a year to forget for Port.
Brisbane seem to be on the improve this year and gave Sydney a real shake on the weekend. Tough one. That 4:10 Sunday timeslot really is a rubbish one for fans IMO.

I think Brisbane at home are a different beast. Warmer weather takes the sting out of visiting teams pretty quickly and the Lions play the Gabba well.
4:10 time slot bites the big one. Will think about going up until about 2pm Sunday I'd say.
