Who will win the 2015 Grand Final

So at the begining of the finals series, who is your tip to win the Grand Final?

I think Port are the team to beat, if they have enough players available , if not WWT

Port's lineup isn't as good as last season's, although it's obviously still very handy. I think all of the top 3 have a legitimate chance to win it.

Eagles - Easily the best team all year. Tough, hard, dour, capable of absorbing pressure. Concern I'd have for them is Wundke looks to me like he's carrying something, and they wouldn't want that to deteriorate or get found out on a bigger ground.

Port - Play the Oval well, fit and healthy, one of only two teams to have beaten the Eagles.

West - Very talented, and a great blend of attack and defence. One of only two teams to have beaten the Eagles.

The Eagles look a bit like Norwood of the past few years - Unlikely to put you away with a big score, but defend so well that generally 8-9 goals can win them the game. However both Port and West do look capable of putting up big scores. As a neutral Im fascinated to see how it unfolds.

I'll lean toward the Eagles due to how dominant the club has been thus far in 2015.

The Eagles are front runners for the flag and deservedly so given the season they have had. I'm hoping Westies win it but it will be a big task for them.

No love for Norwood from anyone?

They seem to be playing the Bassett/Warren defensive game, and playing it exceptionally well this season

No disrespect to the other 3 teams, but Im hoping for a West Adelaide Flag

According to a TFSA poster a radio station stated that Woodville West Torrens have marched into the Grand Final by beating the Panthers by 14 points

No one has tipped Central District, could the Dogs get up and win the flag from here? I have a suspicion that may not be such an unrealistic suggestion as it may have been six weeks ago!

Of course they can.

They're playing well and there's only two opponents to beat.

Eagles are correctly hot favourites, West have to cover losses and Central are going well.

Of course they can, they are one of only 3 teams that can. History is against them though .. Look how well South ran last year in the finals but couldn't get it done. It's a massive ask from the Elimination.

There was a lot to like about the way Centrals beat Port. Got an early jump, built up a solid lead, then hung in there for dear life. Particularly their desperation in that last 10 minutes, when Port's extra fitness began to tell. That last tackle on the goal line was electrifying stuff. Laird is a very shrewd coach and he's got them up at the right time. Whether they can keep doing it is what matters. They must have been drained at the end last Sunday. Nobody would have left the ground with so much as a single drop left in the tank. Whatever happens this week though, it's hard to go past the Eagles in the GF.
